That'll Do, Far Cry 3. That'll Do...

Hello again fellow gamers!
I am going to make this very short.  I know I am not as frequent as I used to be with my posts, but your girl needed a bit of a break.  I overplayed, stopped exercising (I may have broken my Kinect), and so on and so forth.  Not trying to make excuses, but I may have possibly over done it and tired myself out; but don't you beauties worry your pretty little heads off.  I'll be back faster than you can say...

So, what is the reason I felt I needed a break, especially from playing for a little? I spent hours upon hours of my day playing Far Cry 3. Which says one thing:  it might be one of the best games I played in 2012 and leading into 2013.
YOU SHOULD NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SPOILED
The story was interesting, the characters were pretty well developed.  The combat felt somewhat smooth and all together, the game was quite enjoyable.  I truly felt like a bad ass warrior with some pretty nice tattoos.  In addition to that, the co-op is just fantastic.  I love a good kick-ass session online, and this game definitely offers that. (FYI, if we do ever play together, I call Callum.)

The only major downside to this game?  They got rid of the best character, Vaas, halfway through.  That did not sit well with me.  Especially because the "bigger" boss man, Hoyt, was so boring. Which leads me to another, smaller, issue. Although it did not really change my opinion much on the game, but what is with the quicktime events for the bosses.  You work hard to finally get to them and boom, you press a few buttons and they are done?? Hmmm...
I think if they wanted to pull off better boss battles, all of them should have been a big fight leading up to them and then it be like how you fought with the giant when you are high off your ass because of Citra.  That's just my opinion.  Speaking of which I was so friggin right about Citra in my last Far Cry post.  I knew it!!!!

Other then that I really found little wrong with the game, except the incredibly disappointing endings in both cases that I will pretend never happened, and I highly recommend it to anyone.
So, I am done with Far Cry...for now.  I am now going to attempt to Dishonored.  I know I have been saying this for a while now, but I just have not had the motivation for it really.  I am working on it.     Really, I am....
I guess to sum it up, I overdosed on games and cake, I loved Far Cry 3, I love Vaas, I know the definition of insanity and it's Citra, and Dishonored is in my future.  That's it for now.
HAPPY GAMING

I suppose every game has one or two niggles but from the rest of what you have described it sounds awesome. Tx ^^ man!

I really know what you mean about building up motivation for Dishonored - it is also one of those award winning game types but I just need to get into 'the zone' to play it. I will get there too ;)
